About Us

The Archer County Emergency Services Association (ACESA) is dedicated to providing leadership and expertise in all fields of emergency services. ACESA works to serve as a resource for emergency services providers by distributing information, networking, communication and collaboration with the emergency service professionals in Archer County, Texas.

The Archer County Emergency Services Association includes representatives from Archer County's Fire Departments, EMS, Emergency Management Office and Sheriff's Office. Together we are the leaders and practitioners in preparedness, response, recovery, mitigation and protection in Archer County, Texas. We are seasoned professionals, beginners and experts; we are part-time and full-time, volunteers and paid employees, and we all share common goals.

ACESA provides and supports:

  • Cultivating effective relationships, liaisons and partnerships
  • Finding innovative solutions to today’s emergency management challenges
  • Professional training, conference and workshop opportunities
  • Evaluation, development, recommendation and implementation of administrative and operational plans, courses of action and procedures
  • Recognition of outstanding contributions to emergency management


Currently we hold meetings at the Archer County Sheriff's office (EOC) on the second Thursday of January, March, May, July, September and November of each year at 7pm. We invite, welcome and encourage any emergency service personnel in Archer County to attend.

The Archer County Emergency Services Association was founded in 1990 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the promotion and mutual support and cooperation across disciplines in preparing for natural and human caused disasters and public emergencies as well as the support of our local membership.
